<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the lifetime of a strap of a snap hinge cap. <P>SOLUTION: In the snap hinge cap, a main body part 30 is coupled with a cap part 40 via a film hinge 50, and a circumferential wall part of the main body part is coupled with a skirt part of the cap part via a strap 60 at an end side in the longitudinal direction of the film hinge. The strap has a curved shape which is curved in a plane perpendicular to the opening/closing and rotational direction so as to form a space 65 on the line along the longitudinal direction, and the strap is elastically deformable so that the space is expanded in the longitudinal direction of the strap. Thus, the strap is elastically deformed in an expanding and contracting manner in the straight direction while the space is expanded in the straight direction to connect coupling parts at both ends or contracted in a returning manner, and during the elastic deformation in the opening/closing turn, no high shearing force in the lateral direction is applied to the coupling parts at both ends.
