<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens capable of attaining an optical performance favorable to a high numerical aperture, and attaining miniaturization and thickness reduction of an optical head device. <P>SOLUTION: The objective lens 10 condenses a luminous flux from a light source, and has at least a plane of incidence 11 to which the luminous flux is made to incident, a reflecting surface 12 which converts an optical path of the light flux made incident from the plane of incidence 11, and an emitting plane 13 which emits the luminous flux reflected by the reflecting surface 12, and the reflecting surface 12 is an eccentric curved surface with power of condensing the luminous flux, and forms a rotational asymmetric surface form for correcting aberration caused by the eccentricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
