APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECONSTITUTING THREE-DIMENSIONAL GRAPHICS DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for reconstituting 3D (three-dimensional) graphics data. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an analyzing unit for analyzing 3D graphics data to produce scene graph information; an aligning unit for aligning objects of the scene graph having geometric information of the 3D graphics data included in nodes of the scene graph, material information that corresponds to the geometric information, and hierarchy information regarding the nodes, using predetermined detail information included in the material information as a reference; and a rendering unit for interpreting the objects of the scene graph aligned by the aligning unit to convert the 3D graphics data into a two-dimensional image.
