PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of maintaining raised hope feeling of a player during a special game condition by regulating switching of the performance mode during the special game condition given after the completion of a jackpot game condition. SOLUTION: Switching determination whether or not the performance mode is switched is executed at the time of starting the pattern combination game (in Fig., games 1 to 3 or games 6, 7) when the game condition is a normal game condition. Therefore, the performance mode is switched, and the performance changing the number of effective lines Y is carried out in the case that the determined result of the switching determination is positive. On the other hand, the switching of the performance mode is regulated, in the case that the game condition is a time reduction condition. Accordingly, the performance changing (increasing or decreasing) the number of lines Y is not executed, in the pattern combination game (in Fig., games 4, 5) performed during time reduction condition.
