PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing toner and its manufacturing method by which the shape of the toner can be controlled and colorant and wax are prevented from exposing on the toner surface. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrostatic latent image developing toner includes: a preparation step to prepare fine particles containing binder resin, colorant and wax; a dispersion step to disperse the fine particles in a solvent containing an organic solvent and to agitate it at a specified temperature; and a separation step to separate the fine particles from the solvent.
