PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery built-in type emergency luminaire giving consideration to the easiness of the replacement/maintenance of a storage battery 12 and an environmental factor such as an improvement in recyclability. SOLUTION: Emergency lamp components such as an emergency lighting inverter 8, an inspection switch 9, a charge indicator 10 are housed in a box 7 formed into a U-shape from an inspection opening 6 of an apparatus body 1 protruded in the back face, while a storage battery mounting base 11 and a storage batter 12 are arranged removably in the lower part of the emergency lighting inverter 8. In this way, an arrangement space for the components is secured, while the emergency lamp components can be visually checked, and consequently, the easiness of replacement of the storage battery 12 and the easiness of maintenance of the emergency lamp components can be improved.
