PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a battery house, having a common shape, even when the size of the battery to be loaded is different according to the kind of cameras. SOLUTION: A battery chamber 20 is formed on the bottom plane of a camera 2 for loading a size AA battery 19 or a size AAA battery. A first battery chamber 20a and a secondary battery chamber 20b are formed in the battery chamber 20. A plus armature 22 and a negative armature 23 for the size AA battery are mounted in the first battery chamber 20a, and the secondary battery chamber 20b in the case of a specification that the camera 2 is made to operate by using the size AA battery 19. A positive armature for the size AAA 25 is removably mounted in place of that for the size AA 22 in the first battery chamber 20a, and the secondary battery chamber 20b respectively when the specification that the camera 2 is made to operate by using the size AAA battery that is smaller in size than that of the size AA battery 19. Three positioning ribs 25c for defining the position of the radial direction of the size AAA battery are formed in the body 25a of the positive armature 25 for the size AAA.
