PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since a conventional input pen for inputting information to a device main body capable of performing handwritten input is shaped like a round axis, the contact area with the finger is relatively small, and a relatively large force is required for holding this input pen. SOLUTION: As to the shape of an input pen, at least the part of a pen top 8 side is formed almost like a plate so that its width can be made wider according as it goes away from the pen top. Thus, it is possible to stably grip the pen with small force, and to eliminate any necessity to form the storage part of the input pen in the device main body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
