PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control medium capable of securing safety even when deposited on a skin of a human body or when drunken in to be intruded into a body, and capable of detecting surely that a temperature-detected object is brought once into a high temperature to damage its quality, even when the temperature-detected object comes again within an allowance range of a storage temperature, after the temperature-detected object is brought into the high temperature to damage its quality. SOLUTION: This temperature control medium is a temperature control medium containing an emulsion 1 constituted of a phospholipid mixture containing water, fats and oils and a phospholipid, and the emulsion 1 contains a pigment.
