PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve suppressing generation of carbon deposit in an injection hole to improve fuel injection performance. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve comprises: a hollow cylindrical valve body 3; a valve seat 4 disposed at a tip part downstream the valve body 3, and provided with an opening part 4a formed at the center thereof to have a diameter which is reduced toward the downstream; a valve element 5 axially moving in the valve body 3 to open/close the opening part 4a; an injection hole plate 8 disposed to a downstream face of the valve seat 4 to have a plurality of injection holes 7; and a cavity 9 formed in a shape of a disc between the downstream face of the valve seat 4 and the injection plate 8, and connecting the opening part 4a with the injection holes 7. An injection hole inlet part of an injection hole 7 is disposed on an outer peripheral side of a downstream opening diameter dv of the opening part 4a of the valve seat 4, and an injection hole outlet part thereof is arranged to be closer to an axial center side of the fuel injection valve than the injection hole inlet part.
