PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call attention only for a person existing in a dangerous area. SOLUTION: The attention calling device determines (S20) a vehicle speed of an own vehicle and changes (S30) the radiation direction to an upward direction so that the modulation ultrasound wave is radiated to the area far from the own vehicle at a certain degree when the vehicle speed is high. On the other hand, the device changes (S40) the radiation direction to the downward direction so that the modulation ultrasound wave is radiated to the area near from the own vehicle when the vehicle speed is low, and radiates (S50) the modulation ultrasound wave afterward.
