PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a normal rice cooking function even under an environment such as an aircraft power supply with a high power supply frequency of 400 Hz and an environment such as a power supply of a power generator on a ship with not so high but unstable power supply frequency. SOLUTION: This electric rice cooker is provided with a frequency-free circuit, does not synchronize a turning-on/off timing of a heater or an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) to a zero cross timing of a constant power supply voltage but controls turning-on/off by performing a predetermined frequency processing after detecting the zero cross timing to respond to a power supply frequency other than the commercial power supply and a power supply with a changeable frequency.
