PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting means of dust plugging capable of raising a dust collecting efficiency by immediately detecting dust plugging. SOLUTION: The detecting means 20 of dust plugging is used for a dust collector 10 having a duct main pipe 11 and a plurality of branch ducts 13 branching from the duct main pipe 11 and connecting with a plurality of fabricating devices 12 respectively to absorb dust discharged from each fabricating device 12, detects dust plugging in the duct main pipe 11 or branch ducts 13, and has an absorbing power detecting means mounted in the edge opening of the duct main pipe 11 and detecting absorbing power of air in the edge opening.
