PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a laminated coating film exhibiting a morpho sense suppressing a gaudy sense, and to provide a method for forming a coating film. SOLUTION: The laminated coating film has at least underlayers 20, 21 formed on a surface of an object 10 to be coated; a colored coating film layer 30 formed on a surface of the underlayer and containing a particulated coloring material having an average particle diameter of 30-300 nm; and a luminosity material coating film layer 40 formed on a surface of the colored coating film layer, having a structure that at least two kinds of polymers having different indices of refraction are alternately laminated and containing a transparent luminosity material 401 for controlling an interference light by reflection interference action of a light obtained by the laminated structure and a transmission light other than the interference light.
