<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a solar cell capable of forming superior recesses and projections on a surface, using a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the solar cell is provided with a process for forming the recesses and projections on the surface of a substrate by etching a single-crystal or polycrystalline silicon wafer substrate.
