<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ID issue management system capable of uniquely allotting and issuing ID according to a kind of an article to a tag unwritten with the ID, an article information management system capable of managing article information by new issue of ID and an ID issue management method. <P>SOLUTION: An ID read/write control server 204 is connected to an ID issue management server 203 through a network 202. An operator inputs the kind of the article using an input instrument not shown of the ID read/write control server 204, places the article 205, i.e., an object of ID issue on an RF tag reader/writer 207, receives the new ID from the ID issue management server 203 and writes the ID if it is detected that the ID is not issued. The kind of the article may be specified by reading a bar code or appearance of the article. It is verified whether or not writing of the written ID is correct. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
