摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect pressure difference between the upstream side and the downstream side of a filter so as to estimate quantity of particulates deposited on the filter with favorable precision. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device to be used in a hybrid system is provided with a particulate deposit quantity estimating means S209 to estimate quantity of particulates deposited on the filter based on differential pressure detected by a differential pressure detecting means that detects exhaust pressure difference between the upstream side and the downstream side of the filter, and a control means to change operation states of an internal combustion engine to set fluctuation of exhaust quantity passing the filter to be within a prescribed range in a case where the particulate deposit quantity estimating means estimates particulates quantity deposited on the filter when the internal combustion engine is in such an operation state that the exhaust quantity passing the filter fluctuates beyond a prescribed range, and control power to be outputted to an output shaft from a motor to offset power outputted to the output shaft from the internal combustion engine that fluctuates in accordance with change of operating states of the internal combustion engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
