<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of performing record processing of a plurality of copies of print data inputted from an external PC efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: When a plurality of copies of some image data acquired from a printer controller and recorded in a page memory 21 is printed out, a recorder body 1 encodes the image data in the page memory 21 at a high speed codec section 17 while inputting the image data in the page memory 21 sequentially to the printer 20 and performing record processing of a first copy and then stores the encoded image data in an image memory 16. After ending record processing of the first copy, the recorder body 1 decodes the encoded data stored in the image memory 16 at the high speed codec section 17, records the decoded data in the page memory 21 and then inputs that data to the printer 20 thus performing record processing of second and subsequent copies. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
