<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition excellent in discharge stability and capable of being uniformly printed on a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: This aqueous ink composition contains at least a coloring component selected from a dye and a pigment, a 5-10C monovalent or divalent branched alcohol, an acetylene glycol-based surfactant and/or a penetrating organic solvent, a humectant, and water, wherein the 5-10C monovalent or divalent branched alcohol, the acetylene glycol-based surfactant and/or the penetrating organic solvent, and the humectant are selected from such combinations that the components are compatible with one another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
