PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life monitor system capable of remotely monitoring an normal living state, without changing the living environment much, invading the privacy, hardly causing malfunctions, and providing a low cost, including building of infrastructure. SOLUTION: The life monitor system includes a house-to-house detection means M0 for detecting the electrical energy ME consumed accompanying household living; a house-to-house monitor means M1 for calculating a time change amount MD of the measured electrical energy ME and comparing the amount MD with a pre-specified threshold MT to carry out communication; a remote monitor means M3 for monitoring the information of the M1 via a communication medium M2 at the outside of the house; and a client receiving means M5 for receiving monitor information of the means M3 via a communication medium M4.
