PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition in which it is intended to increase the expansion coefficient of an expandable compounding agent such as a thermally expandable microcapsule, expandable graphite or a blowing agent-containing resin. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a diene rubber, 1-15 pts.wt. of a thermally expandable microcapsule, and 1-10 pts.wt. of a tall rosin resin containing at least one resin acid component selected from the group consisting of abietic acid, neoabietic acid, dehydroabietic acid, pimaric acid, iso-pimaric acid, and palstric acid.
