PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas blowing nozzle which can be stably used without destroying the function of a thermocouple and without exerting a bad effect on the gas blowing function even if molten metal has intruded thereinto. SOLUTION: Cut grooves 6 are provided on the side portion of a nozzle body 2 made of a refractory substance. The thermocouples 7 are arranged along the cut grooves 6 and are buried with mortar 8. Thus, the thermocouples 7 are arranged on the outside of the nozzle body 2 without passing the inside of a constant pressure gas chamber 4 located at the lower portion of the nozzle body 2. Particularly, it is preferable that the depth of the cut grooves 6 are set so as to be at most 20 mm, and a plurality of thermocouples 7 are arranged in one of the grooves 6 so as to have various buried depths in order to prevent the short circuit between the thermocouples themselves.
