PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing stand capable of preventing books or the like from falling down regardless of quantity of the books or the like. SOLUTION: The housing stand 1 comprises assembling a first stand forming body 2 and a second stand forming body 3. The first body 2 is provided with a first placement part 4, a first back frame 5 and a first side plate 6 on which the first placement part 4 and the first back frame 5 are fixed. The second body 3 is provided with a second placement part 7, a second back frame 8 and a second side plate 9 on which the second placement part 7 and the second back frame 8 are fixed. The first placement part 4 and the second placement part 7 are fit into together in a relationship to the one accommodating the other. The first back frame 5 and the second back frame 8 are fit into together in a relationship to the one accommodating the other.
