<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of achieving the further improvement of power saving regardless of day and night. <P>SOLUTION: An adaptive time band corresponding to a liquid crystal whole power saving mode can be input and set by the operation of an operation input part 19, and the setting of the liquid crystal whole power saving mode corresponding to the adaptive time band is made valid only while a measured time by a measurement part 12 is present in the adaptive time band.
