<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a modulation efficiency by a light wave, such as a laser beam, etc. and to alleviate the positional accuracy of a light source in a high frequency part for modulating a high frequency signal propagating at a superconducting transmission line formed on a dielectric substrate with the light wave such as the laser beam. <P>SOLUTION: The irradiated light wave is refracted or reflected on the boundary of two or more regions having different refractive indexes formed in the dielectric substrate, and condensed to the superconducting transmission line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
