<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient regeneration braking force by consuming the regeneration power of a moving body, to prevent a solid polyelectrolyte membrane at the time of regeneration braking from being dried, or regenerate the membrane, and to secure speed acceleration performance after the completion of the regeneration braking. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary humidifier 15 is attached to a main humidifier 14 that humidifies air compressed by a compressor 12 and feeds it to a fuel battery body 2. A three-way valve 23 feeds drain water discharged from the fuel battery body 2 to the auxiliary humidifier 15 as humidifying water. A relay 16 feeds power to an electric heater contained in the auxiliary humidifier 15. When a secondary battery 4 cannot absorb the regeneration power, rotational speeds of the compressor 11 and a cooling water pump 17 are accelerated, the drain water is fed to the auxiliary humidifier 15 from the three-way valve 23, and the relay 16 is turned on. The power consumption of a system is thereby increased, a vehicle drive motor 10 can exhibit the regeneration braking force, and the auxiliary humidifier 15 performs additional humidification. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
