<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously realize suppression of catalyst deterioration of a fuel cell and shortening of starting time of a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: When the system is started, a microcomputer 2 performs control so as to make a dummy resistor 81 consume power generated by a fuel cell stack 1 in a state that air is not supplied to a cathode electrode 12, and start supply of hydrogen to an anode electrode 13. Moreover, it performs control so as to adjust the quantity of hydrogen to be supplied to the anode electrode 13 by a hydrogen supply valve 24, and adjust the quantity of hydrogen to be discharged from the anode electrode 13 by a purge valve 29, so that the pressure of the anode electrode 13 is made not higher than a predetermined target pressure, and that the generated voltage of the stack 1 is made not higher than a predetermined target voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
