<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server client system by which a user utilizes necessary service from any terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The server client system comprises: an authentication device; a plurality of servers providing the service: a communication controller instructing communication control in accordance with a request from the authentication device; and a communication apparatus for controlling communications between the authenticated terminal and a service permission server. Upon executing an authentication request by the user from the any terminal, the authentication device executes authentication and retrieves a user management means, and informs the communication controller of the service allowing the user to use and address information on the terminal. The communication controller retrieves a server management means and informs the communication equipment of the address information on the terminal, address information on the server providing the desired service, and port information used for service presentation.
