<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sheet-like formed material in which a tape with IC tags is reliably stuck to the sheet-like formed material while substantially maintaining the high operating speed approximate to that in producing a general cardboard so as to well maintain the strength of adhesion of the sheet and the flatness of the sheet in sticking the tape with the IC tags. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a sheet-like formed material in which a tape with IC tags arranged at adequate intervals is fed in the direction of flow of the sheet-like formed material, using a unit 80 for feeding out a tape 30 with IC tags onto the moving sheet-like formed material from a tape reel 1, the tape 30 with IC tags 20 arranged at intervals shorter than the length of each piece of sheet cut in the direction of the flow of the sheet-like formed material by a cutter 94 is supplied onto the sheet-like formed material.
