The multiplexing part 265 multiplexes management information to be supplied by the management information generating part 272 with the file 251 to be supplied by the data identification information extracting part 264 as necessary, and supplies the result to a recording control part 266. The recording control part 266 controls a pickup part 267, and records the file 251 supplied by the multiplexing part 265 in the optical disk 268.
