PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic paper printer which is made to cause no scratch or the like on both sides of an electronic paper in transferring the electronic paper. SOLUTION: The electronic paper printer 1 is equipped with a first conveying part 20 to change the attitude of the electronic paper 10 with memory property from vertical attitude to horizontal attitude, an exposing device 30 to conduct exposure on the electronic paper 10 conveyed to the write position by the first conveying part 20 and to write an image therein, and a second conveying part 33 to eject the electronic paper 10 with the image written therein on a tray 40. Since the sheets of electronic paper 10 are conveyed by the first conveying part 20 onto an exposing part 32 in such a way that they fall down one sheet by one sheet from the vertical attitude thereto, in the case of conveyance onto the exposing part 32, the occurrence of contamination or a scratch due to rubbing on both sides of the electronic paper 10 is avoided.
