PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of a skeleton by securing a ventilation path around an opening of a building so as to make ventilation spaces in upper and lower wall bodies of the opening surely communicate with each other. SOLUTION: A wood substrate (30) is interposed between an opening frame substrate (15) for supporting an opening frame (3) of the opening (2) between columns (1) and (1), and a side surface, on the side of the opening (2), of the column (1), and split into an indoor-side wood substrate material (31) and an outdoor-side wood substrate material (32); the outdoor wood substrate material (32) is provided in the state of being deviated in the direction of being separated from the column (1) in such a manner as to overhang to the outdoor side of the substrate (15); and the vertical ventilation path (33) for making the ventilation spaces (6) and (7) in the upper and lower bodies of the opening (2) surely communicate with each other is formed between the substrate material (32) and the column (1).
