PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact crusher where water is sprinkled directly to a gap which is formed between the inside face of a crusher body casing on the side of a bearing and the side end face of a rotary crushing body, in which an air current stagnates, the temperature of which is comparatively high and in which dust and fine particles are apt to accumulate so that adhering dust and fine particles are washed away and the temperature is lowered to prevent the hardening of an easily handleable material such as asphalt. SOLUTION: A water sprinkling means 4 is arranged in an area A where the inside face 12 of the crusher body casing 1 on the side of the bearing is opposed to the side end face 25 of the rotary crushing body 2 so that water is sprinkled to the gap S between the inside face of the crusher body casing on the side of the bearing and the side end face of the rotary crushing body.
