PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single room occupation informing device which surely gives occupation information outside the room when a private room such as a toilet and the like is occupied by a person. SOLUTION: When the presence of a user is sensed once in a state where a door 13 of a toilet room 11 remaining closed, an indication lamp 33 is kept lit even if the presence of the user is not sensed by a human detection sensor 16 due to a long stationary state of the user. Thereby, the information that the toilet 11 is occupied can be surely given to people outside the toilet room 11, contrary to a conventional case, even if the user fails to lock the door 13 or where the user remains still for a long time.
