摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the installing property and user-friendliness of a rice cooker by reducing the amount of steam discharged during rice cooking. SOLUTION: The rice cooker 1 is provided with: a pot 2 for housing rice and water; a pot heating means 3 for heating the pot 2; a pot temperature detection means 4 for detecting the temperature of the pot 2; a lid 5 with which the opening part of the pot 2 is covered; a heating panel 16 arranged on a surface opposing the pot 2 of the lid 5; a lid heating means 17 for heating the heating panel 16; and a steam cylinder 9 through which steam in the pot 2 is discharged. A space layer 18 is provided at the heating panel 16. A first steam hole 20 communicating with the steam cylinder 9 is provided at the upper part 21 of the heating panel 16.
