INK JET PRINTER AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING EJECTION TIMING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance correction accuracy of ink ejection timing of each head unit 51 in an ink jet printer having a print head H arranged with a plurality of head units 51 in the feeding direction.

SOLUTION: Uni test pattern for matching the ink impact position of a plurality of head units 51 in the main scanning direction, and Bi test pattern for matching the ink impact position of each head unit 51 in the main scanning direction between going and returning strokes of scanning are formed simultaneously on the same print paper P and the conditions for forming two types of test pattern are made to coincide with each other.
