<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical branching box for facilitating an operation for confirming if an optical signal flows inside. <P>SOLUTION: The optical branching box 1 has a casing 3 on the outer side of which a plurality of optical input/output sections 7a are arranged to which external optical cables 5 are connected. Also, inside the casing 3, there is arranged as the main component structure an optical branching means which distributes or couples optical signals entered from the optical input/output sections 7a to output the optical signals through other optical input/output sections 7a. Additionally in this structure, a window 3a for visual recognition is installed on the outer side of the casing 3, so that the optical signals distributed or coupled by the optical branching means are outputted from other optical input/output sections 7a as well as being released outside from this window 3a for visual recognition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
