摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer and an on-vehicle system capable of reducing the time of an initialization process that is implemented after resetting. <P>SOLUTION: When an ignition switch is turned on to turn off power-on reset, the initialization process by a CPU, and autonomous initialization and the establishment of a communication session by a communication controller are implemented in parallel. Upon the completion of the process that takes the longest time among the initialization process by the CPU of each ECU and the autonomous initialization and the establishment of the communication session by the communication controller, the start of the on-vehicle system is completed and a normal process for performing the proper functions of the system is started.
