<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the method for breaking and separating a component member that is to be broken and separated by making breaking and separating force perpendicularly affect a desired face to be broken and separated, fully prevent displacement of an actual breaking line in a desired process, and apply preload to the broken and separated component member in the direction where the breaking and separation force works in the method to break and separate a component member or a component member material that can be reassembled. <P>SOLUTION: Before the breaking and separation force F<SB>3</SB>or F<SB>3'</SB>affect a component member 1, the compression force F<SB>1</SB>or F<SB>1'</SB>is made to affect it, the tensile stress is formed by the compression force, the maximum value of the tensile stress is positioned perpendicular to the desired broken and separated face and on a plane of the broken and separated face, the compression force is set so that the stress level created by the compression force still stays lower than the material yield point of the component member 1, and the compression force still exist at the component member when the breaking and separation force is made to affect it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
