PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor capable of reducing an amount of power consumption. SOLUTION: The data processor 50 is provided with transfer control units 25A, 25B and logic circuits 6A, 6B which are connected with each of the transfer control units, input data to be outputted from the connected transfer control part, perform data processing, and output the data to the transfer control part at the next stage after that. The data processing speed of the logic circuits is changed in accordance with the level of a voltage supplied to the logic circuit. Each transfer control unit includes C elements 2A, 2B, 2C receiving a request pulse for data transfer provided from the preceding stage and transferring the same to the next stage, pipeline registers 4A, 4B, 4C, in response to every reception of the request pulse, receive, hold, and output the data requested to be transferred and P circuits 1A, 1B which determine frequency of data supply to the logic circuit being connected and control the level of a voltage supplied to the logic circuit in accordance with the determined frequency.
