PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera capable of restoring erased image data even when the image data recorded in one memory are erased. SOLUTION: The camera including a plurality of storage media for recording image data includes: a delete instruction means for deleting image data recorded on one storage means among a plurality of the storage media; and a control means that transfers and records the image data to be deleted to the other storage media in response to an instruction by the delete instruction means for carrying out backup.
