PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain consistency of data between storage devices of respective sites. SOLUTION: When the storage device 100A receives a write request to an area of LU0, an owner access processing part 121X refers to a lock information table 118Y, determines whether write process to a storage area indicated by the write request is restricted or not. When the write request is restricted, the write process to the storage area is not executed. When the write request is not restricted, write process restriction is set in a field of a storage area of the lock information table 118Y, and the write process to the storage area is executed. When other storage devices 100B, 100C receive the write request to the area of the LU0, a lock securement request indicating the write process restriction to the area of the LU0 is transmitted to the storage device 100A.
