PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and stably producing a granite-tone molded article having excellent adhesiveness to a substrate and free from the problems of delamination, bending and surface sink. SOLUTION: The radically curable molding material contains (A) a thermosetting resin, (B) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer, (C) an inorganic filler, (D) a fiber-reinforcing material and (E) an artificial patterning material. The artificial patterning material E is a flaky material having a thickness of 0.1-0.4 mm and matte-finished at both surfaces. The invention further provides a molded article of the molding material.
