PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the wettability of ink to the surface of a projecting part of a removal plate to uniformly and precisely carry out the transfer of the ink from a blanket to the removal plate instead of a method for adding an additive to the ink, in the removal plate used in manufacturing an organic EL display device by a letterpress reversing offset method. SOLUTION: At least upper surfaces 13 of projecting parts 12 of this removal plate 11 are washed and the contact angle of water used for it is set to 25°or smaller.
