PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a hard coat film excellent in wear resistance and flexibility. SOLUTION: This method for forming the hard coat film is carried out by applying an ultraviolet curable coating material (a) to form a cured coating film having≥80% elongation in the measurement by JIS K 5400 on a film base material (C) and further applying an ultraviolet curable coating material (b) to form a cured coating film having≥4H pencil scratch value in the measurement by JIS K 5400 hand scratch method on the ultraviolet curable coating material (a) to form the cured coating film (A) formed by curing the ultraviolet curable coating material (a) and the cured coating film (B) formed by curing the ultraviolet curable coating material (b).
