PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict temperature rise at a stator part, and improve motor efficiency in a fuel pump. SOLUTION: This fuel pump 1 comprises a rotor part 11, the stator part 12 to apply electromagnetic force to the rotor part 11, a partition wall member 3 to separate the stator part 12 from the rotor part 11, and an outer wall member 4 forming an outer wall of the stator part 12. It is also provided with a motor part 10 comprising a stator containing chamber 5 formed between the partition wall member 3 and the outer wall member 4 to contain the stator part, and a pump part 20 driven by rotation of the rotor part 11 to send fuel taken from a fuel taking passage 28 to be delivered through a fuel delivery passage 29.
