SUSTAINED-RELEASE FORMULATION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pharmaceutical formulation that effectively controls elution of an amine-based medicine. SOLUTION: The sustained-release granule is obtained by forming a coating layer containing a polyvinyl acetate and a surfactant on a medicine-containing coarse granule prepared by coating the surface of a core substance with an amine-based medicine and a water-soluble binder. The method for producing a sustained-release granule comprises (i) a process of dissolving or suspending an amine-based medicine and a water-soluble binder in an aqueous solvent to give a liquid, spraying the liquid on the surface of a core substance and drying to form a medicine layer and (ii) a process of spraying an aqueous coating liquid containing a polyvinyl acetate and a surfactant on the medicine-containing coarse granule obtained by the process (i) and drying to form a coating layer.
