PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet treatment device and an image formation device provided with this capable of stably aligning a position in a sheet conveying direction of a sheet with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A restriction member 411 for restricting a position in the sheet conveying direction of the sheet is provided on an end in an upstream side in the sheet conveying direction of a sheet piling up means 410 for piling up the sheet to be treated. After the sheet conveyed to the sheet piling up means 410 is conveyed in the sheet conveying direction by normal rotation of a sheet conveying means 407 capable of being normally and reversely rotated, it is conveyed by reverse rotation of the sheet conveying means 407 so as to be abutted on a rear end stopper 411. Further, after the sheet is conveyed so as to be abutted on the rear end stopper 411, the sheet conveying means 407 is also reversely rotated for a predetermined time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
