The component has a central ridge slat area and two longitudinal ventilation areas (30) attached to the slat area. Ridge clay brick-projecting margin areas (32) are attached lengthwise to the respective ventilation areas. The margin areas are made of a metal sheet created by reaction with rainwater growth killing metal ions and are formed with burls and/or z-shaped folding. An adhesion is provided at an under side of the areas (32).
