A human hand mimetic and pediatric support device provides comfort, positioning, sense of security and infant support. This device includes a cavity that resembles a human hand, partially or totally filled with a freely flowable material and closed at the wrist/cuff. An optional extension that mimics an arm/forearm/sleeve or one hand placed in either side of the sleeve provide extra length, weight and flexibility of usage. This device provides gentle pressure and restraint by mimicking a human hand and conforming to the body such that the baby remains in a quiet behavioral stateindefinitely, thus saving energy and facilitating growth. The device may be used directly touching the skin, is washable, and is small enough to minimize interference with medical or other equipment. It may be used under, over or surrounding the user (excluding the face to prevent suffocation) or to assist on securing items in place.
